Avoid Walking a 5K — For a Cause

The Fall Faux 5K is a unique, adult-friendly fundraising event benefiting the Washington Regional JB Hunt Transport Services Cancer Support Home at Washington Regional. Unlike traditional 5Ks, this event focuses on celebration and community rather than competition.

Since 1995, the Cancer Support Home has provided free overnight lodging, a wig and prosthesis boutique, financial aid, and patient navigation to cancer patients across Northwest Arkansas — 100% donor-funded, at no cost to families. Its 9,980 sq ft home was built through a $4.1 million community campaign anchored by a $1.5 million capstone gift from J.B. Hunt Transport Services.

Capped at just 150 participants, the Fall Faux 5K is designed to be more intimate than a typical Northwest Arkansas charity 5K. Amy and Daniel LeSieur guarantee a minimum $5,000 donation, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Washington Regional Medical Center Foundation in support of the Home.

Walk through crisp autumn air surrounded by beautiful fall colors, cross our festive finish line, and join the post-race celebration with food, drinks, and community spirit.

The Fall Faux 5K is a fun, adult-friendly fundraising event benefiting the Cancer Support Home at Washington Regional. Unlike traditional 5Ks, this event focuses on celebration and community rather than competition. Expect autumn-themed decorations, great food and drinks, and the joy of crossing a special finish line (immediately). Wear your favorite fall colors and join us in supporting this wonderful cause!

The Fall Faux 5K will take place at Walk Your Plans NWA Studio (240 E Township Street, Fayetteville, AR 72703) on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. The event will feature beautiful fall decorations and a celebratory finish line experience for all participants.

Amy and Daniel LeSieur will guarantee a minimum donation of $5,000 or 100% of proceeds from the Fall Faux 5K. All sponsorship commitments are made directly to the WRMC Foundation. Your commitment will assist the WRMC Foundation continue their vital mission of supporting cancer patients and their families in our community. Your participation makes a real difference!

Flying in: Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is just 30 minutes from the event. Driving: Walk Your Plans NWA Studio, 240 E Township Street, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Local transit: Ozark Regional Transit and various rideshare services provide easy access from anywhere in Northwest Arkansas.
